Pure White Generator Delivers High Brightness and Rich Colour

Pure White Generator, developed by Panasonic Connect, contributes to rich colour reproduction at high brightness of 16,500 lm. Efficient light collection uses a multi-reflection system to minimize loss of light-source energy noticeable with conventional systems. It achieves an optimal color balance without sacrificing brightness for realistic and accurate color expression.

Dynamic Contrast NX, a further evolution of Dynamic Contrast, uses a newly developed video-scene analysis circuit to recognize differences in brightness and darkness more precisely than before.

Perfectly Balanced Brightness and Colour

Together with high-efficiency optical engine for immersive high-contrast images in well-lit rooms, the MZ17KLBE features Pure White Generator, an original technology that minimizes loss of light energy and balances rich colour and high brightness. Dynamic Contrast NX includes new scene-recognition circuitry that detects light and dark areas of the image more precisely, while Detail Clarity Processor 4 sharpens text edges for clear visibility.

Geometric Adjustment Corrects Trapezoidal Distortion and Curved Screens

With built-in Geometric Adjustment, various distortions on the screen can be corrected via remote control. In addition to trapezoidal distortion resulting from angled projection, Curved Screen Correction fixes distortion caused by projection onto curved surfaces. Corner Correction allows the user to specify four screen corners, such as the upper right and lower right, for correction. Screen proportions can be maintained and corrections can be saved as data.

Eco-Friendly Energy-Saving Design

The MZ17KLBE is highly efficient, with it consuming less energy than any projector in its class for highly sustainable daily operation. Light-source and filter replacement is extended to 20,000 hours, reducing waste. The projector is liquid cooled and features a dustproof structure for stable operation. Multi-Laser Drive Engine limits brightness loss should a diode fail, while Backup Input function maintains image display if the primary signal is interrupted.
