Collection: Slot-In PC's

A Slot-In PC, also known as an OPS Module, is a small computer designed to be installed in the OPS Slot of many commercial or interactive flat panel displays.

An OPS Slot (Open Pluggable Slot) is a common feature on many displays, particularly interactive flat panels (IFP's). It is usually featured on the side of the display to easily allow a compatible Slot-In PC tor OPS Module to be 'slotted in' with ease. The most common reason users would purchase a Slot-In PC is to upgrade the operating system of the panel (eg upgrading from Android to Windows), or increasing the processing power and speed of the display. A Slot-In PC can also allow for a wider variety of programs to run on the display that would otherwise not be possible with the inbuilt operating system.
